About the location

San Nicolas is a quiet, peaceful long established urbanisation just a 10 minute walk to the sea.
La Herradura still a very Spanish village with a mile long beach. Costa Tropical adjacent to the Costa del Sol with all the sunshine but not the high rise hotels and apartment blocks or hustle and bustle.

The villa itself overlooks the Mediterranean but is just that little way out of the village making it very quiet and relaxing. In the village there are a number of restaurants and bars.The nearest town is Almunecar (10 minutes by car) which has some good beaches and a water park.

The town of Nerja is about 15 minutes away, where there are the famous caves in which to see concerts or the ballet. Further afield is Granada with it's Alhambra Palace, Malaga with the Picasso museum. La Herradura is about 50 minutes from Malaga airport and about 1 hour from Granada airport
